Superintendent's Welcome
Ben West, Superintendent Welcome to Pawhuska Public Schools! It is an honor to serve as Superintendent of Schools in such an outstanding school district. Our purpose is to “Build a Legacy of Excellence One Student at a Time”. Each of our staff members and students strive to achieve excellence in all they pursue on a daily basis. We are driven to make Pawhuska Public Schools the best school in the great state of Oklahoma. Pawhuska Public Schools serves 968 students K-12 grade and is located in northeastern part of the state. Pawhuska is the national headquarters of the Osage Indian Tribe and the county seat for Osage County, Oklahoma. Academically, our students are afforded the opportunity to participate in college Advanced Placement (AP) courses, pre-AP courses, gifted and talented, visual arts, vocal and instrumental music, vocational education, athletics and a challenging curriculum to prepare them for their future. Our teachers, staff and students are supported by the members of the Pawhuska community and the Pawhuska Public School Foundation. Huskie pride is visible throughout our community whether at athletic events, music performances, art displays or academic achievements of our students.
