Federal Waivers for free school meals has ended.

The federal waivers that were granted due to the pandemic for free meals for students ended June 30, 2022.  All families must now apply for the free and reduced lunch program to continue to receive meal benefits for their students.  School begins on August 25 and students must have an application for review or deposit funds into their student’s lunch account.

The meal application will be a part of the enrollment online process that is currently available on your school portal login.

The cost for PPS meals for the 2022-23 school year is set to:

  • Breakfast: P3-5th Grade: $1.90 6-12th Grade  $2.20

  • Lunch: P3-5th Grade: $2.20, 6-12th Grade  $2.70

Families that qualify for free/reduced meals may also qualify for the federal affordable Connectivity Benefit which helps with the cost of at home internet.  See links on the website for connectivity.
