The Pawhuska Junior High Students had their very first Remediation time on Wednesday, also called "Huskie Time." Huskie Time is an essential remediation schedule designed to provide students with individualized support from their teachers. This initiative not only focuses on assisting those in need but also recognizes and rewards students who excel. Students who demonstrate exemplary behavior—such as consistently submitting assignments on time, attending classes punctually without excessive tardiness or absences—are rewarded with 30 minutes of free time. To further incentivize positive behavior, local churches play a crucial role by providing refreshments, including soda and Gatorade, to students who are committed to making responsible choices and staying on track with their academic responsibilities. This program allows students the opportunity to work their way toward an improved standing each week, emphasizing the importance of accountability and commitment in their educational journey. Through Huskie Time, we aim to foster an environment of support, encouragement, and achievement for all students. Thank you to the Methodist & Assembly of God Church for making the first donation of drinks for our students!

Thank you for the drink donation from the Methodist & Assembly of God Church!

What Logan and our other STEM/Aviation students are doing in Mr. Kyler's class is incredible! The picture does not do justice in regard to what is being taught/learned. Our students in Mr. Kyler's program are leaving PHS with the knowledge and skills to either quickly obtain certifications or speed up their post high school education!!

Ms. Miller and Ms. Walker have started a speaker series aimed at helping our students make life decisions in regard to their life after high school. The goal is to provide expert level knowledge so students can be aware of cost, degree or technical certifications needed in order to enter a profession. With local people having the knowledge we might even make connections that will help in the future!! Pictured is our first session!!
