Join your OU Admissions Counselor for an informational presentation designed exclusively for Pawhuska High School students. Students will receive an overview of the OU admissions process and learn more about the new regional David & Sally Polk Howard Scholarship, including eligibility requirements and opportunities available to local students. The presentation will also include a Q&A opportunity, giving students a chance to ask questions and learn more about the admissions process, scholarships, and life at OU.
For students 9th - 12th grade that are interested in learning about this amazing scholarship opportunity through OU for Pawhuska students, there will be a meeting for students and parents on Tuesday, Oct. 20th, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Please complete the link below if you plan to attend.

Students in Ms. Nikki's STEAM class at Indian Camp had a blast with their unit on Johnny Appleseed. They built fences around their orchards, built baskets for harvesting apples, and walked through different “terrain” barefoot like it has been claimed just like Johnny Appleseed did. They loved this experience and these hands-on activities will stay with them forever.

Tomorrow, Thursday Oct. 8th, CPR will be provided to Seniors during 5th hour which starts immediately after lunch at 12:30. Please have your student show up if they are a concurrent student, work study student or off campus for some other reason. It is a graduation requirement.

So many people to thank for the video board and what takes place on a Friday night starting with the community for approving the bond issue. Specifically Mr. Rumsey and Mr. Fenton for taking on the task of learning to run the system. Starting tonight they begin the process of transitioning the management of the video board to a student led production team. You will see student tonight with sideline cameras, as well as headsets for production management. These students will be able to show live action shots, replay of live action among other content. Of course there will be bumps as they learn and take over the entire production but it's awesome that they have the opportunity!!

Softball plays in Pocola tomorrow at 4pm and 6pm. Win both and we advance to the State Tournament. If we split the games tomorrow, there will be final game on Wednesday. Student who's parents/guardians check them to drive themselves to Pocola will need to check in with Ms. Moore at the game. We are working on providing student transportation. The first to sing up will get on the open spots if they have purchased at ticket on gofan.
